      2010-2011 AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey Awards

      The AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League and the Advisory Board are proud to announce the winners of this years awards.

      Offensive Player of the Year: Hunter Woody (Mansfield Varsity Silver)

      Defensive Player of the Year: Ben Owen (Allen Varsity Gold)

      Goalie of the Year:  Ryan Medellin (Plano West Varsity Gold)

      Most Valuable Player:  Drew Cossu (Southlake Varsity Gold)

      Coach of the Year: Steve LaMere (Plano West)

      The League Awards winners were recognized at the Stars Game-Tuesday April 5thduring the 2nd & 3rd period intermission. Each Player received 2 complimentary tickets to the game. Congratulations Guys!

      Flower Mound JV Gold Player-Avery Littleton Remembered

       

      Avery Littleton from the Flower Mound JV Gold team passed away on Monday, December 27, 2010 in Lake Charles, LA.  The family was out of town for the holidays when the tragedy occurred.  Avery was born in Carrollton, TX in 1995.  He was a sophomore at Flower Mound High School and has played for the Flower Mound High School Hockey Club as a forward since the 8th grade.
       
      The family has requested donations, in lieu of flowers, be made in Avery's honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  If you would like to contribute to this charity, please designate in Memory of Avery Littleton.
