AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League

Welcome to the Home of the AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League

Hockey between local city high school teams began in 1997 with just four teams in one division, Southlake Carroll, Plano, Jesuit, and Coppell. With strong support of the Dallas Stars and the enthusiasm of local players, the second season produced 20 teams competing in two divisions, since then our league has grown up to 70 teams competing for the fun of the game and the pride of their schools.

For 2012-2013 there is a single Varsity level split into two divisons.  The top three teams in each division will compete for the Gold City and State Championships with the winner, provided it is not a combined school or ISD team, advancing to the USAH National HS Championships, March 21-25, 2013.  The next four teams in each division will compete for the Silver Championship with the final four teams advancing to the State Championships in Houston, March 23-25, 2013.

The Junior Varsity will be split into Gold and Silver divisions where the top eight teams in each will compete for CIty Championships.

All Star Game is a Success

The AT&T Metroplex held its annual All Star game at the American Airlines Center on Saturday April 20th.  A lively crowd of almost 2000 fans enjoyed a wide open offensive show put on by the top players in the league.  Although the East defeated the West 7-2 the shots on goal favored the West 45-38.

Plano West and McKinney Claim JV Championships

McKinney nipped regular season champion John Paul II, 2-1 to win the JV Silver Championship.  A 3rd period goal by Evan Seibold was the difference as McKinney goalie Landon Brower stopped 30 of 31 JP II shots.

In the JV Gold Championship game, Plano West defeated Allen 3-2.  Late 3rd period goals by Rishi Kshatriya and Thomas Brown turned a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 victory.  West Goalie, Samuel Solomon stopped 16 of 18 Allen shots to earn the victory.

Congratulations on a great season!

Jesuit and Frisco Claim State Titles, Mansfield is City Silver Champ

The Jesuit Rangers knocked off defending champion Plano West 4-2 to claim the Varsity Gold City and State Championship.

In Houston, Frisco knocked off a determined Marcus club 1-0 to claim the Varsity SIlver State Championship.
