Hockey between local city high school teams began in 1997 with just four teams in one division, Southlake Carroll, Plano, Jesuit, and Coppell. With strong support of the Dallas Stars and the enthusiasm of local players, the second season produced 20 teams competing in two divisions, since then our league has grown to up to 70 teams competing for the fun of the game and the pride of their schools. 2016-2017 will be the 20th full season for the league and the league will celebrate the anniversary with several events which will be announced very soon.
Due to a 2-week Spring Break this year the playoffs have been pushed back a week and will now be March 20-23. A copy of the schedule is below.
All High School Clubs have received information on the Varsity Players of the Year and All Academic awards. The winners will be honored at the Dallas Stars game on Tuesday April 4th. Each club needs to submit their nomination forms to Keith Andresen at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than March 6th.
