AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League

Welcome to the Home of the AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League

Hockey between local city high school teams began in 1997 with just four teams in one division, Southlake Carroll, Plano, Jesuit, and Coppell. With strong support from the Dallas Stars and the enthusiasm of local players and parents, the second season produced 20 teams competing in two divisions. Since then our league has grown to up to 70 teams competing for the fun of the game and the pride of their schools. 2017-2018 will be the 21st full season for the league.

The 20th season of the AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League came to a conclusion last night as champions were crowned in the Gold and Silver Divisions at the Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco and the Bronze and JV Divisions in McKinney.

In the Gold Division Championship McKinney turned the table on Frisco in one of the best games of the season.  In January Frisco nudged McKinney in the State Championship game but this time it was McKinney coming out on top 4-3 in Overtime. The game went back and forth with McKinney holding a 3-2 lead until Frisco tied it with 6:40 remaining in the 3rd period.  In OT it was James Kavulich who netted the winner with an assist from Ethan McDonald.  McKinney goaltender Landon Brower came up big stopping 28 Frisco shots and earning the victory.  Both Frisco and McKinney will participate in the USAH National High School Tournament in Cleveland Ohio.

Mansfield continued their regular season success at the Varsity Silver level by topping Flower Mound/Marcus 7-2.  Harris Milson led the way with 4 goals and 2 assists.

In McKinney, Southlake Carrol captured the Varsity Bronze Championship 2-0 over Richardson/Rockwall.  Jared Weisert and Owen Leland scored for the Dragons and D'Yab Asdi secured the shutout making 20 saves.

In the JV Championship Plano East added the playoff banner to their regular season championship with a 5-1 victory over McKinney.  5 different PESH players netted goals while Richard Sloane collected the victory in goal.
