Fan Code of Conduct

Please see the letter below from TAHA High School Section President, Cosmo Clarke. The AT&T MHSHL supports the USA Hockey Code of Conduct for all participants and fans.

Dear Club Directors and Hockey Leadership,
This correspondence serves as a formal notice regarding the mandatory enforcement of the Codes of Conduct established by USA Hockey/TAHA, StarCenters, and your respective club organizations. Please be sure to redistribute this note to your club.
Recent incidents and ongoing concerns have made it necessary to reiterate that all players, coaches, team officials, parents, spectators, and fans are required to strictly adhere to these standards at all times. This includes conduct during games, practices, tournaments, and any activities held within StarCenters facilities or under USA Hockey sanctioning.
The following behaviors will not be tolerated:
  • Verbal abuse or harassment directed at officials, players, coaches, staff, or spectators
  • Profanity, threatening language, or discriminatory remarks
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct on or off the ice
  • Failure to comply with facility policies or staff direction
  • Escalation of conflicts in stands, benches, locker rooms, or common areas
Clubs are responsible and accountable for the conduct of their players, coaches, and spectators. Immediate corrective action is expected when violations occur.
Failure to enforce and comply with these standards may result in disciplinary measures including, but not limited to:
  • Removal of individuals from the facility
  • Game suspensions or forfeitures
  • Loss of ice privileges
  • Formal review and additional sanctions by governing bodies
Our shared responsibility is to provide a safe, respectful, and development-focused environment for all participants. Continued disregard for these expectations will result in decisive action.
We expect all clubs to communicate this notice to their membership immediately and reinforce these standards without exception.
