Frisco West v. McKinney Showcase

The AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League will present 4 Showcase games this season featuring rivalry matchups between some of the top teams in the league.  In a Match-up of neighboring towns, Frisco West topped McKinney 6-3.  Frisco jumped out to a 2-0 lead before McKinney cut the lead in half with 3:52 left in the 2nd period. Frisco responded by scoring 3 times in 48 seconds before the period ended to take a 5-1 into the 2nd intermission. McKinney kept battling and scored 2 goals in the last 5 minutes to close the gap, but Frisco sealed the win with an empty netter with just over a minute left to play.
