FRISCO CLAIMS STATE TITLE
In front of a packed house at the Children’s Health StarCenter-Plano, Frisco nudged Jesuit in a thriller, 2-1. Jesuit grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first period and kept the pressure on Frisco goalie Max Klein, but he was able to keep Jesuit from adding to their slim lead. Throughout the second period, Jesuit pushed hard but Frisco hung tough. The break between the 2nd and 3rd periods gave the Frisco coaches a chance to make adjustments and they took advantage of the opportunity. Tournament MVP Wyatt Waldron tied the score at 48 seconds of the third and just 30 seconds later, Franklin Pinkerton netted the game winner. With the lead and over 15 minutes to play, Frisco clamped down and played a tight checking defense allowing Jesuit only 6 shots in the third period. For the game, Jesuit outshot Frisco, 25-24. Jesuit had a tremendous year, finishing first during the regular season.
With the victory, Frisco will advance to the 2026 USA Hockey High School National Championship, March 18-22 in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Frisco coaches Mike Hogan & Bobby Chapman-Frisco is off to Nationals in Plymouth Minnesota, a championship they won in 2017.

After a hard-fought game the players come together for post-game fellowship in a showing of mutual respect and sportsmanship
