League Advisory Board Announced

The members of the AT&T MHSHL Advisory Board for the 25-26 season have been announced.  The advisory board will work with the league and membership on improving the high school experience for the players and their families.

Mark Snyder

My youth hockey experience started when my sons (2003 and 2005) got into the sport. Since that time, I’ve been involved with the Stars house league, travel, High School and ACHA hockey in various roles from volunteer to coach to executive board member, including 2 years as the VP and 2 years as the President of Plano West High School Hockey. I currently have my level 4 coaching certification and play adult league hockey here in DFW, but I’m looking to give back to the youth hockey community by volunteering, starting with the High School Advisory Board.

Jason Wynn

Jason C. Wynn joins the AT&T High School Hockey League Advisory Board with a long-standing passion for service, leadership, and being a true fan of Sport. A dedicated father of two hockey-playing sons, Jason has spent years supporting athletes across all levels—from House to High School and even ACHA College levels. His hands-on involvement ranges from basic coaching roles to key leadership positions, including serving as President of the Plano East Hockey Club, where he helped rebuild the program, drive record fundraising, grow participation, and foster a culture of pride and professionalism. His approachable leadership style allows him to relate to athletes and families across all schools, player skill levels, & areas of the metroplex always focusing on the bigger picture of league development, community, and keeping the sport of hockey in the high school league gaining furtherance & fun.

With a professional background spanning business ownership, architectural house plan sales, and now as a full-time real estate agent, Jason brings valuable leadership experience and a proven ability to build strong relationships. Having worked closely with the AT & T Metroplex High school league, its commissioner, and countless hockey families over the years, Jason is deeply invested in the success of our High School Hockey League. He’s a true fan of how the league, the Stars, and the State Tournament have been organized and grown, and is passionate about contributing to that continued success. Driven by a desire to give back and help organizations & teams & the league itself thrive, Jason is committed to advising and offering a well-rounded idea perspective to help ensure the league remains a positive, supportive, growing, and rewarding experience for All league players, All league teams & organizations, and those families alike. He looks forward to serving with energy, integrity, and a long-term commitment to grow & keep the High School Hockey league vibrant for years to come.

John Renwick

Mr. Renwick has coached in the metroplex for over ten years at all levels of youth hockey. He currently coaches high school at both the Varsity and Junior Varsity level as well as travel. He has been involved in all aspects of youth hockey. He played competitive hockey for over 30 years including high school and was a referee in his youth. He has also served on a travel hockey board. Mr. Renwick was the stats coordinator for the IIHF U18 Men’s World Championships in 2021 and again recently in 2025, responsible for over 50 stats and ice level volunteers. His son recently graduated high school after playing five years of high school hockey. He looks forward to working to improve the high school hockey experience for players, coaches and parents.

Jason Hilliard

Jason Hilliard has been immersed in the game of hockey for more than 30 years—as a player, youth coach, and passionate student of the sport. His deep appreciation for the game and its culture continues to shape how he approaches leadership and community involvement within youth hockey.

While his son played with the Arlington/Midlothian Attack Hockey Club (3 seasons), Jason served as Club President for the last two of those seasons. In his first season as Board President he helped reestablish the identity for the Attack and planned for the club's longevity. Additionally, he helped build coaching structure across the organization, led dryland conditioning for all teams, and worked to strengthen both internal operations and community visibility.

Key contributions during his time with Attack include:

- Organized and supported hiring of coaching staff across age levels

- Led strength and conditioning sessions for all teams

- Oversaw identity and branding projects including securing rink banners, dedicated team locker room, logos, and custom door wraps

- Helped grow club participation and visibility through community events and the Arlington 4th of July Parade

- Secured sponsorships from local and national businesses to support locker room upgrades and team needs

- Promoted the club’s involvement in service efforts like Mission Arlington, Feed the City, and Toys for Tots

Jason remains committed to fostering a strong, supportive environment where High School hockey in North Texas can continue to grow—developing skilled, disciplined players year after year.
