NEW FEATURE-"Beyond the boards"

Hey, AT&T MHSHL Clubs & Families,

Every month, we'll be shining a light on a high school hockey player in the AT&T MHSHL who is doing something exceptional outside of the rink. We're talking about the player who volunteers every weekend at a food bank, the one who's performing in front of sold-out crowds as a musician, the one mentoring younger kids in their community — the stories that don't always make the scoreboard but absolutely deserve to be told.

Here's what we're looking for:

- Community service or volunteerism

- A standout talent outside hockey (music, art, entrepreneurship, etc.)

- Leadership in school or the broader community

- Any story that shows who this player is beyond their jersey number

To nominate a player, simply reach out to Mark Snyder at mlsnyder95@proton.me with a brief description of what makes them special off the ice. Nominations are open to players from any team and any level of high school hockey in Texas. One varsity and one JV player will be selected each month from the nominations received. ANYONE MAY NOMINATE A PLAYER!
