The Southlake Carroll Dragons beat a pesky Highland Park Scots team 6-3 to claim the Varsity Silver Championship.  The Dragons jumped out to an early 2-0 first period lead before HP closed the gap to 2-1.  The Scots tied the score early in the 2nd, but Southlake countered with 3 goals in less than 6 minutes to take a 5-2 lead into the 3rd period.  Highland Park cut the gap to 5-3 with 12 minutes left but could get no closer and the Dragons closed out their championship season with an empty net tally with 1:15 left.  Congratulations to the Southlake Carroll Dragons.

In the Varsity Bronze final, The Allen Eagles defeated Birdville 5-1.  Birdville grabbed a 1-0 lead after the first period but Allen stormed back with 2 goals in the 2nd and 3 in the 3rd.  Allen outshot Birdville 32-22 for the game and Allen goalie Cooper White made 21 saves.  Congratulations Eagles.

The Junior Varsity Championship turned into a rout with Northwest defeating Plano East 8-0.  Northwest scored twice in the first period and added four in the second period before closing out the scoring with 2 in the third.  Plano East battled hard but Northwest, who went undefeated all season, had too much firepower.  Congratulations Northwest.

At the JV Bronze 1 level, the Richardson/Rockwall Raiders beat the Denton Conty Spartans 7-1. Both teams upset high ranked opponents in the semi-finals and fought hard to get to the final.  The Raiders got on a roll early and built a 7-0 lead halfway through the game.  The Spartans got on the board late in the third to avoid the shutout.  Congratulations Richardson/Rockwall.

The JV Bronze 2 Final was a thriller as the Highland Park Scots beat a tough Arlington squad 5-4 in overtime.  Arlington raced to a 3-0 first period lead before Highland Park scored to make it 3-1.  Late in the 2nd Arlington scored again to regain their 3-goal lead but the Scots countered with 2 goals late in the second to cut the lead to 4-3. Play in the third period was back and forth until late in the period with just under 3 minutes left the Scots got the equalizer sending the game to OT. Arlington outshot HP in overtime but it was the Scots who eventually banged home the winner with under 4 minutes to play.  Congratulations to Highland Park!
